Renovation of a mixed-use development in Arcadia, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

This is an Owner Furnished Contractor Installed OFCI contract. All Derbigum materials (Manufacturer) listed in specification section 07 52 00 will be purchased directly by Arcadia Unified School District (Owner) through CMAS and furnished by The Owner without cost to the successful Roofing Contractor (Contractor). The Contractor shall supply all labor, transportation, non-owner supplied materials, apparatus, and tools necessary for the entire proper completion of this Work; and shall install, maintain and remove all equipment for proper execution of his Contract, and shall be responsible for safe, proper and lawful performance of his equipment, maintenance and use of the same, and shall perform in the best workmanlike manner, and everything properly incidental thereto, as stated in the Contract documents, or reasonably implied therein, for the roof repair and replacement at the Arcadia Unified School District Facilities and Operation Service Facility, 35 West Saint Joseph Street, Arcadia, CA 91007. Bids for Roofing Services at FMOT, as per specifications contained in Bid No. 300:21-22. Each bid must be sealed and marked ROOFING SERVICES AT FMOT, Bid No. 300:21-22. The General contractor is required to assure that all subcontractors meet all requirements and certifications of the specifications at the time of bid. All bids shall be made on bid forms furnished by the District. Each bid must conform and be responsive to contract documents. It shall be mandatory upon the contractor to whom the contract is awarded, and upon any subcontractor under him, to pay not less than the general prevailing rate per diem wages in the locality in which this work is to be performed for each craft or type of workman needed to execute the contract based on a working day of eight (8) hours. The rate for holiday and overtime work shall be at time and one half. Certified Payroll will be required for this project. This job requires a C-39 contractor's license. Per SB 854 Public Works Contractor Registration Program, as of March 1, 2015 contractors must be registered with DIR in order to bid on public works projects In Accordance with EC 17076.11, the District has a participation goal of 3 percent for DVBE for requirements. No bidder may withdraw the bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening bids. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any irregularities or informalities on any bid or bidding.
