As of January 5, 2021. The project has not been awarded and no specific time frame for award has been determined at this time. The work under this contract will consist of the following: Furnish all labor, material, tools, equipment, supervision, and incidentals to resurface and re-stripe approximately 11 miles of County roads, remove and replace approximately 450 lineal feet of cross drain culverts, and replace approximately 290 lineal feet of guard rail. All work shall be done in accordance with the latest revision of Georgia Department Transportation's Standard Specifications. Contractor must be approved as a GADOT contractor. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond in the amount of five percent of the amount bid. The successful bidder must be able to provide a Payment Bond and Performance Bond equal to 100% of the contract amount. The Wayne County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to re-ject any or all bids and to waive technicalities and informalities. The Owner reserves the right to award the Contract in the best interest of the Owner. Contractor agrees that the work contemplated by the Contract shall be entirely completed on or before 120 days after Notice to Proceed from the County Engineer.
