Carson City is accepting sealed bids for all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary for the Aquatic Center Skylight Replacement Project. Sealed bids must be submitted in accordance with the bid documents, drawings and plans, specifications and special conditions related hereto. All contractors must comply with NRS 338.01165 for this project, unless a modification, waiver, or exemption applies. CONTRACTOR'S LICENSE: Carson City has determined that the responsive bidder must possess a minimum of a Class B or C-8 with appropriate sub classifications or subcontractors. All Contractors license shall be in good standing and issued by the Nevada State Contractor's Board at the time of the bid. QUESTIONS regarding this bid must be submitted in writing via email to Carol Akers at CAkers@carson.org and must be received a minimum of four (4) working days prior to bid opening. Bidders, their representatives, and all other interested persons may be present during the bid opening. AWARD RECOMMENDATION will be made by the Carson City Purchasing and Contracts Department. NOTICE OF PROTEST OF AWARD OF CONTRACT must be submitted in writing to Carson City Purchasing and Contract within five (5) working days after the City makes a recommendation to award the contract. BID AWARD will be made by the Carson City Board of Supervisors and is tentatively scheduled for January 6, 2022. The meeting will be held in the Bob Crowell Board Room of the Carson City Community Center, 851 East William Street, Carson City, Nevada 89701 beginning at 8:30 a.m. PRICES must be quoted FOB Carson City, Nevada and are valid for sixty (60) calendar days after the BID OPENING. The project includes removal and replacement of two skylights on the roof of the Carson City Aquatic Center located at 841 North Roop Street. Work includes removal and disposal of the existing skylights and providing and installing the new skylights per the project documents.
