Site work for a water / sewer project in Millville, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work includes the furnishing of all labor, material and equipment necessary or required to complete all work set forth in these Specifications. Estimated quantities of the major items of work are summarized as follows: Item Estimated Quantity 1. Rehabilitation of 8" Gravity Sewer 1,025 LF 2. Rehabilitation of 15" Gravity Sewer 310 LF 3. Rehabilitation of Sanitary Sewer Manhole 16 VF Bids must be made on the standard Proposal form attached to the Specifications in the manner designated therein and must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and the name of the project on the outside, " Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation - Cedar St., Sassafras St., & 11th St.", addressed to the City of Millville, and must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Bid Bond or Cashier's Check drawn to the order of the City of Millville for ten percent (10%) of the total amount bid, provided said security need not be more than $20,000.00; also to Letter of Surety, List of Subcontractors, Public Works Contractor Registration Certificate Compliance, New Jersey Business Registration Certificate Compliance, Stockholder's Disclosure, Non-Collusion Affidavit, Affirmative Action Questionnaire, and Bidder's Checklist. All bid guarantees shall be accompanied by an executed consent from an approved surety company, licensed to conduct business in the State of New Jersey, agreeing to furnish the required Performance, Payment and Maintenance Bond upon the award of contract. The signed Proposal forms and bid security must be delivered to the place on or before the hour named above. The accepted bidder must sign the contract within ten (10) days after the Notice of Award or forfeit his bid security. Bid securities will be returned to all but the three apparent lowest responsible bidders. All other bid securities will be returned after awarding and signing of the contract and approval of the Contractor's Performance Bond. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals, in whole or in part, and to waive such informalities as may be permitted by law. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project. The work for this project consists of the following items: 1. Work to be scheduled for nights between the hours of 8pm and 8am. 2. Cleaning and videotaping of 8" and 15" sanitary sewer mains. 3. CIPP Rehabilitation of 8" and 15" sanitary sewer mains at a depth of 6' to8'. 4. Rehabilitation of 4' diameter sanitary sewer manhole at a depth of 6' to 8'5. By-pass pumping as required. 6. Providing all necessary traffic control in accordance with Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). Millville Police Department must be contacted for any closures. 7. Submit a traffic control plan for review and approval by the City Engineer's office and the Traffic Safety Division. 8. Contractor is responsible for any permitting required by the NJDOT for work conducted within the right-of-way of State Route 49 (East Main Street). 9. Contractor is responsible for any permitting required by the County for work conducted within the right-of-way of CR 610 (Cedar Street) and CR 555 (S. Race Street). 10. Contractor is responsible for contacting and coordinating with the School Board to work around the school bus schedule
