Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Fort Lee, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The Work to be performed under this contract includes the milling and resurfacing of Valley Street and Hazlitt Avenue to the limits identified in the Contract Documents. Also included are ADA curb ramps, sidewalk and driveway repair, minor drainage improvements, and ancillary items. Principal items of Work in the project include: . 2,070 S.Y. HMA Milling, 3" or Less . 310 TON Hot Mix Asphalt 9.5M64 Surface Course . 750 L.F. 9" x 18" Concrete Vertical Curb The Work contemplated under this Contract shall be completed within 45 calendar days of notice to proceed. Each bid must be made upon the prescribed forms, furnished with the Contract Drawings and Specifications, including an ownership disclosure statement, and must be accompanied by a Consent of Surety and a certified check, cashier's check, or Bid Bond of not less than ten (10%) percent of the amount bid, not to exceed $20,000.00. The successful bidder shall furnish and deliver to the Borough a performance and payment bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the accepted bid amount as security for the faithful performance and payment of the Contract.
