Project Number: 21-114-GC Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Architect will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. All proposals must be on file with the Gulfport School District prior to the opening time as stated above. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. Performance and Payment Bonds will be required from the successful bidder. Bidders shall comply with law of the State of Mississippi requiring Certificate of Responsibility. Resident contractors shall, in accordance with laws of the State of Mississippi, be granted preference over non-residents in the award of this contract in the same manner and to the same extent as provided by the laws of the state of domicile of the non-resident. A non-resident contractor shall attach to his proposal a copy of his resident state's current law pertaining to such state's treatment of non-resident contractors. No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bid/proposals and to waive informalities. The Project consists of new baseball and softball grandstands at The Herbert Wilson Sports Complex in Gulfport, MS. B. The Work consists of reinforced concrete foundations, concrete slabs, limestone fill, and fence removal and repair.
