**As of January 19, 2022, there were no bids for the project. **As of January 20, 2022, it will likely be rebid, but it might be a couple years. The scope of work includes complete removal of existing roofing systems (standing seam metal roofing over built-up roofing over a wood deck; built-up standing seam metal roof/structure over polyurethane coating / insulation over a metal deck). Install new fully adhered 60-mil EPDM membrane, cover board, rigid insulation, sheet metal flashing, and all associated work. The approximate roof area is 17,000sf. Single Prime Bids for the Elementary Roof Replacement project will be received electronically by Hettinger Public School District Construction is expected to start around May 2022. Substantial completion for the project is expected to be August 2022 Each Bidder shall submit a Bid Security in a sum equal to five percent (5%) of the full amount of the Bid, executed by a surety company authorized to do business in North Dakota; the security shall be for the highest amount of the Bidder's total bid combination. All bonds shall comply with North Dakota Century Code, including Chapter 48-01 as amended. If proving a cashier's check for the bid security, it must be delivered to the Schools Main Office by the bid opening deadline. Each Bidder shall hold a current and valid North Dakota Contractor's License of the proper class issued by the Secretary of State. The Contractor must pay for and provide a "Payment and Performance Bond" for the full bid price of the Contract. The Owner further reserves the right to reject any and all bids and rebid the project until a satisfactory bid is received, and to waive any informalities or irregularities.
