The affected building, housing UMA residential functions is a 24-story structure, of Construction Classification Type I, for University Residential use. The bulk of mechanical/electrical equipment areas will be located at the basement level of the building and the mechanical penthouse located on the roof. o. The structural system for the building is cast-in-place concrete framing and floor slabs. The sub-structure is cast-in-place concrete shallow spread footing and wall foundations. The building envelope is generally non-bearing brick façade with aluminum windows and exposed architectural concrete features. The scope of work, without limiting the generality thereof, includes all labor, materials, equipment and services required to perform the work described fully in the Drawings and Specifications and includes, but is not limited to the following major work: 1.
