The IDIQs will be for one base year with the potential exercise of up to 4 option years. The work to be performed is for the remediation of physical safety hazards associated with Abandoned Mine Lands, within the Southwestern Region. Schedule of Item Instructions The Schedule of Items requests pricing for the labor as well as commonly used equipment and materials. Not all the labor, equipment, and materials, listed in the Schedule, will necessarily be utilized for each Task Order (TO). Each TO will provide the exact requirements and the Offerors shall provide a quotation with the level of effort necessary to complete the task. The labor/equipment used in an actual remediation effort shall be sized in accordance with the needs of the situation. The hourly price shall include all overhead, applicable DOL wage rates, general and administrative and/or profit/fee. When quoting on an individual task order all applicable state, federal, and local taxes shall be included in the unit prices. The selected contractor will be awarded a Firm-Fixed Price Task Order based upon the successful offeror's response to the required AML task. AGAR 452.216-73 Minimum and Maximum Contract Amounts (FEB 1988) During the period specified in FAR clause 52.216-18, ORDERING, the Government shall place orders totaling a minimum of $2,000.00, but not in excess of $1,000,000.00. For each contract awarded the minimum $2,000.00 is guaranteed during the full contract performance period, including all option periods. The minimum guarantee is not annual. Task Order Procedures Each of the up to five awardee will be provided a fair opportunity to be considered for each Task Order expected to exceed $2,000.00, unless an exception applies such as; urgency, follow-on order, or to satisfy a minimum guarantee. When a project is identified for award under this contract the sequence of events will generally be as follows: o The Contracting Officer (CO) will notify the Contractors of a requirement and will include the project description, location, specifications, contract time, applicable DOL wage rates and any other project specific information. o If interested in the task the Contractors shall submit a price to the CO in response to the task, per the schedule of items of the contract.
