Project Category Code: Roofing Description: Bid Package One East High School: Remove all existing layers of the Built-up roof system, insulation, flashings, and metal flashing as indicated in the Plans. Replace existing skylight covers as identified on drawings. Install new fully adhered black EPDM roof system with new insulation, tapered insulation crickets, saddles and cover board. Install new wall flashings, curb flashings, expansion joints, and new metal flashing as indicated in the plans. Remove all HVAC units from curbs, flash curbs up and over the top, install curb extensions or raise curbs as needed to provide minimum 8" flashing height above finished roof system and reinstall HVAC curbs. When raising curbs extend all electrical, plumbing and duct work as needed. Bain Elementary School: Remove all existing layers of Modified Bitumen roofing, insulation, wall flashings, metal flashings, and penetrations flashings. Install new fully adhered black EPDM roof system with new insulation and cover board. Install new wall flashings, curb flashings and new metal flashing as indicated in the plans. Remove all HVAC units from curbs, flash curbs up and over the top, raise curbs as needed and reinstall HVAC curbs. When raising curbs extend all electrical, plumbing and duct work as needed. Bid Package Two Freedom Elementary School: Remove all existing layers of the asphalt shingle roof system, flashings, and metal flashing as indicated in the Plans. Install new shingle roof system, flashings and metal drip edge as indicated in the plans. Repair all flashings and joints on parapet walls, curbs and penetrations as indicated on plans. Coat all wall flashing, curb flashing and penetration with Fiber Aluminum coating. McCormick Jr High School: Repair all areas as indicated on the drawings. Repairs shall be completed per manufacturers require as to retain the existing warranties.
