Completed plans call for the addition of a one-story above grade, one-story below grade educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; for the renovation of a educational facility; and for site work for a one-story above grade, one-story below grade educational facility.

Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: Limited demolition work and civil, architectural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing work associated with interior renovations, building addition and finish upgrades as set forth in the Contract Documents. As school is currently in session, bidders are strongly encouraged to schedule tours outside of school hours. Bidders are advised that if tour must be scheduled during school hours, bidder visit will be limited to those spaces not in use at time of tour. Employment of a testing and inspection firm approved and paid for by the Owner. Approximate scope of testing and inspection shall be as indicated on the drawings and herein specified in the sections of the specifications. 1. Refer to attachment for scope of testing to be provided by Owner. A. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: 1. General: All demolition, sitework, architectural, structural, fire suppression, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, access control, technology and utilities for the interior renovation work and the new building addition as indicated in the Contract Documents and as further defined in the Scopes of Work. 2. Alternates: Refer to Section 012300 "Alternates". B. Type of Contract: 1. Project will be constructed under a single prime contract. A. General: Cooperate fully with Owner so work may be carried out smoothly, without interfering with or delaying work under this Contract or work by Owner. Coordinate the Work of this Contract with work performed by Owner. B. Preceding Work: Owner will remove certain items from the Project site. Those operations are scheduled to be substantially complete before work under this Contract begins.
