The Western Virginia Water Authority requires the services of a waste removal/disposal contractor to properly collect, transport, and dispose of the grit/trash, and/or grease waste that are byproducts of the wastewater treatment screening process. FOR QUESTIONS REGARDING THE BID CONTACT: Lacy Burnette Operations Manager, Roanoke Regional Water Pollution Control Plant (540) 283-8284 Email: lacy.burnette@westernvawater.org It is the intent of the Authority to establish a contract for a period of 1 year with the option of renewing the contract after the first year on an annual basis for a maximum of 4 years. This contract will be reviewed annually after the first 1 year and renewed only when both parties are in agreement. The Authority reserves the right to waive informalities and irregularities and to accept or reject any or all bids. The Authority reserves the right to procure from State Contracts when it is determined that these contracts are in the best interest of the Authority
