The renovation of an existing park. The new facility will comprise of new ADA accessible playground equipment with an engineered wood fiber mulch safety surface. This contract includes only the installation of the specified playground equipment; furnishing of specified playground equipment shall be procured directly by the Owner and provided to the Contractor. The base bid shall also include construction of a new hot mix asphalt sidewalk, new paver sidewalk picnic area, the furnishing and installation of various site amenities, minor fence replacement and grading improvements, among other ancillary improvements. Alternate Bid The replacement of the entirety of the existing chain-link fence and gates with new PVC coated steel chain-link fence and gates. Chain-Link Fence, PVC Coated Steel, 4' High The work contemplated under this Contract shall be completed by May 20, 2022 Contract Drawings and Specifications, including the non-collusion affidavit and ownership statement compliance form and must be accompanied by a Consent of Surety and a certified check, cashier's check, or Bid Bond of not less than ten (10%) percent of the amount bid and, not to exceed $20,000.00 The successful bidder shall furnish and deliver to the Owner a performance and payment bond in the amount of 100 percent of the accepted bid amount as security for the faithful performance and payment of the Contract The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities or irregularities in the bids received and to accept the bid from the lowest responsible bidder
