Pavement Milling and Resurfacing; Full Depth Pavement Repair; Removal and/or Replacement of Existing Drainage Structures In-Kind; Repair of Existing Deteriorated Drainage Structures; Spot Improvements to Existing Curb and Sidewalk and Improvements to Pedestrian Facilities, including Curb Ramp Replacement to Meet PROWAG/ADA and MUTCD Compliance; New Pavement Markings, Traffic Signal Loop and Traffic Count Loop Replacement; Utility Valve and Manhole Adjustments if Existing Conditions Dictate a Need. The Project Will Not Change the Profile Grades So Drainage Flows and Grate Elevations Should Not Be Affected. Bids for this contract shall be submitted in a separate sealed envelope with the name of the contract clearly noted on the outside of the envelope. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total Base Bid, made payable to the Suffolk County Comptroller. This is a FHWA funded contract with a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal of 10% and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) participation goals of 5.8% Minorities, 6.9% Women.
