Bids for the Bedford CSD Athletic Facility Lighting Improvements Project The intended construction start date is December 13th, 2021 and the owner requires substantial completion for the baseball/softball complex on or before May 6th, 2022, and substantial completion for the track/football complex on or before July 29th, 2022 Consideration of bids and the award of contract may be made by the Board of Education of the Bedford Community School District to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder determined on the basis of a combination of the bids at its meeting on December 9th, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. in the Bedford Community School District Board Room, 906 Pennsylvania St., Bedford, Iowa 50833. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid submitted. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Certificate of Insurance and Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds both in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract Price and in accordance with other requirements outlined in the Bid Documents
