Renovation of a mixed-use development in Taneytown, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

It is the intent of this Invitation to Bid to establish a contract to furnish and install three (3) Double Convection Ovens at three (3) schools. Carroll County Public Schools, herein called CCPS, is contracting for all labor, supervision, materials, and equipment, necessary to furnish, deliver, and install three (3) Double Convection Ovens at three (3) schools in accordance with the attached terms, specifications, and general conditions. Locations are as follows: Northwest Middle School 99 Kings Drive Taneytown, MD 21787 South Carroll High School 1300 West Old Liberty Road Sykesville, MD 21784 West Middle School 60 Monroe Street Westminster, MD 21157 Questions and inquiries are to be directed to the Purchasing Office, Carroll County Public Schools, 125 North Court Street, Westminster, Maryland 21157. All questions are to be in writing and emailed to Cindy Reilly, crreill@carrollk12.org and Jenny Yingling, jlyingl@carrollk12.org and received no later than November 30, 2021. Such questions(s) will be reviewed and where information sought is not clearly indicated or specified, the Purchasing Office will issue clarification via a written addendum which will then become a part of the bid and contract. The BOECC reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in bids received whenever such rejections or waivers are in the best interest of CCPS. CCPS shall be the sole judge as to whether items meet specifications or are an approved equal. The BOECC also reserves the right to reject the bid of a bidder who has previously failed to perform properly or complete on time contracts of a similar nature, or the bid of a bidder which investigation shows is not in a position to perform the contract.
