This is a service / maintenance or supply contract in Flagstaff, Arizona. Contact the soliciting agency for additional information.

The intent of this bid is to furnish the City of Flagstaff with its requirements for portable chemical toilets. The successful Contractor may be required to furnish more than the estimated quantities of toilets and at additional locations other than specified below. The Contract, at the Contractor's bid prices, will provide any additional toilets and locations as requested. The toilets must be delivered on the date scheduled and removed from the sites as scheduled within 24 hours to pick up toilets after the end date. 1. PERSONNEL AND EQUIPMENT: Please provide a description of staffing, equipment and number of portable toilets. 2. SERVICE CALLS: The units placed for the City are to be maintained by the Contractor in an acceptable and sanitary condition at all times. Acceptable and sanitary condition shall be defined as meaning: a. Units are to be kept in good repair. Units are not required to be new providing they are kept in good repair. The City reserves the right to inspect the units at any time. Any unit found to be in violation of the requirements of this bid will be corrected within 24 hours after notification of the violation at the Contractor's expense, including replacement as applicable. b. Appearance inside and out is to be kept free of dirt and debris. If the unit is painted, the paint is not to be peeling. The Contractor is to maintain their name and phone number on the outside of each unit in a neat and legible manner. All graffiti, inside and outside of the units, is to be removed during the service call in which it is noticed. If removal of the graffiti required additional work, it is to be performed within a timely manner at the Contractor's expense, including the replacement of the unit if applicable. c. Each unit shall be kept free of offensive odors and have four paper holders with paper in each unit. Each unit shall be thoroughly sanitized on each service call. Contractor shall be responsible for securing each unit in a manner that will prevent "tip overs". Blue Stake must be notified prior to digging when securing the units. The City of Flagstaff Parks Section prior to implementing the security method must approve Contractor's method of securing units. The City will not be responsible for tip overs or will the City pay additional fees for charges for the up righting and additional servicing required as a result of tip overs. The contractor shall bear full responsibility for the clean up (both inside and outside of the unit and the area(s) around the unit), sanitizing and servicing as a result of any tip overs. In the event of a tip over, the Bidder has two hours to set up and clean. Any debris, i.e. trash, paper, cans, etc., removed from a unit shall be properly disposed of by the contractor and not left at the unit's site. Upon inspection of the units by the City, should any debris be found around the units and determined by the City that the debris is from the unit, the City may at its sole option, not pay for the servicing of the unit or require the contractor to correct the problem prior to any payment being made. If the contractor is required to remedy the problem, the contractor shall not charge any additional servicing fees. Any spillage as a result of servicing/cleaning of a unit will be cleaned up and the area hosed off with "fresh" water. No debris shall be left at the unit site as a result of the service call. d. "Normal servicing" shall be defined as the cleaning/servicing of the unit(s) three times a week. Note - Ball field toilets will be cleaned on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Park toilets will be cleaned on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. It is agreed and understood that some units will have heavy use, particularly during peak periods, and may require servicing more than "normal servicing" as defined. The contractor is to indicate in the space provided on the bid form the charge per call for service calls performed to a unit in excess of the defined "normal" service calls. Pre-Bid Meeting : No Online Q&A : No Any questions must be received by the Procurement Agent via email at least five (5) calendar days prior to the Closing Date and Time.
