**As of December 22, 2021, A list of prequalified bidders has been identified by the City. The Project consists of management and construction of a new Fire Station. The work consists primarily of two phases: Design Phase Services, and Construction Phase Services. The City of Largo intends to reconstruct Fire Station No. 39 at a new location. The selected site for them new location is currently owned by Pinellas County. The City is working with Pinellas County to obtain the property, located at the southeast corner of 130th Ave N and Jackson Street. This agreement is contingent on the City obtaining the property from Pinellas County. The City has selected WannemacherJensen Architects as the design firm for this project. Wannemacher Jensen Architects has begun designing the new 3-bay fire station. It is forecasted to be approximately 10,000 square feet in size. Scope of Work The scope of services includes, but is not necessarily limited to: o Provide Complete Construction Management Services o Member of design team, providing input regarding costs, constructability, durability of materials, and long-range maintenance needs o Development and Implementation of a Quality Control/Assurance Plan o Schedule Management, Control, and Analysis o Construct-ability Review of Design Documents o Value Engineering Analysis o Building Site Investigations and Analysis o Bid and Award Phase Services o Securing Permits, Bonds and Insurance o Development and Implementation of a Direct Purchase Plan to Maximize the Use of Allowable Tax Exempt Procurement o On-site Construction Supervision and Administration Services o Coordination with Design Professionals and other City Departments o Scheduling and Coordination of Installation of Owner Provided Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment The Work will be substantially completed within 300 days ; General Conditions within 330 days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run.
