Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the Cresskill Board of Education Bergen County, New Jersey for the Sanitary Pipe Relocation at Edward H. Bryan School project. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-26, in order to be eligible to submit a bid for the Project, the Bidder shall be classified by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction (DPMC) as of the date and time of the bid opening as: C008 General Construction OR C009 General Construction Alterations and Additions OR C054 Sitework OR C056 Sewer Piping & Storm Drains Bids shall be submitted on the provided proposal forms and be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check of bid bond drawn to the order of the Cresskill Board of Education for not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid, but in no case in excess of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00). Bid securities shall comply with N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-24. Bids shall include a Consent of Surety obligating the issuing surety company to provide the bidder and its subcontractors, if successful, with a New Jersey Statutory Performance and Payment Bond in the full amount of the contract. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the opening date. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or waive any non-material informalities as permitted by law. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., and N.J.A.C. 17:27. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.50 et seq., Bidders and their subcontractors are required to be registered with the New Jersey Department of Labor and to possess a current Certificate from said Department indicating compliance at the time of bidding.
