The City currently has a State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) project programmed to rehabilitate and reconstruct roadway surfaces on South Oregon Street, from just south of the Bruce Street intersection to the south end at 4H Way, to provide a new surface suitable for traffic and bike lanes and make associated improvements to storm drainage, water lines, ADA curb ramps and intersections as needed to meet the project goals. The City anticipates that the firm selected for this work will have the preliminary and construction designs completed by fall of 2022, with construction anticipated in the spring of 2023 after allocation of the Construction funding. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
