Failure of the successful Bidder to execute the contract and deliver the required bondswithin ten (10) days of the Notice of the Award shall be just cause for the Owner to annulthe award and declare the bid and any guarantee thereof forfeited. Award may then be madeto the next highest responsible bidder. In order to ensure the faithful performance of each and every condition, stipulation andrequirement of the contract and to indemnify and hold harmless the Owner from any andall damages, either directly or indirectly arising out of any failure to perform same, thesuccessful bidder to whom the contract is awarded shall furnish a Performance andPayment Bond in an amount of at least equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contractprice. The contract shall not be in force or binding upon the Owner until such satisfactorybond has been provided to and approved by the Parish. Addendum deadline is Friday, August 19, 2022 by 2:00pm
