Renovation of an educational facility in Portland, Oregon. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 39,150-square-foot, three-story above grade educational facility.
This project has been awarded to ABC Roofing, a Tecta American Company LLC. The purpose of this ITB is to replace the roof of the Fourth Avenue Building. General scope of work includes the removal of existing built-up roofing system and installation of new single ply membrane roofing system, including insulation and accessories as described in construction documents by Holst architects/KPFF engineers. Work to include demolition as well as items to be removed and reinstalled around various existing roof equipment locations. Base bid work extends the new roof assembly over existing concrete roof slab of main FAB roof and mechanical penthouse. Area of main roof is approx. 40,000 sf. Alternate work includes extension of roofing system over an additional roof area south of the main roof. Other alternate work items are included to add or substitute materials around the roof area and are listed below. For a complete scope of work and details, refer to the full construction documents packet including drawings and specifications. The Work contemplated in this document shall be for the Owner in connection with the Project described in the Project Manual.
