The approximate quantities of work to be bid upon are described as follows: 1 LS Mobilization/Demobilization, 1 LS Erosion and Sediment Control, 8,000 LF 4" PVC C-900 DR-14 Water Pipe, 3,150 LF 2" PVC SDR-17 PC 250 Water Pipe, 5 EA 4" M.J.T. Gate Valve, Complete w/Box And Lid, 2 EA 2" M.J.T. Gate Valve, Complete w/Box And Lid, 4 EA 2" Hidden Post Flushing Hydrant Assembly, Complete, 25 LF 8" Steel Casing (Open Cut), 1 EA Reconnections of Existing Customer's Service, 20 EA High Pressure Meter Setting, 400 LF 3/4" Polyethylene Service Tubing (Open Cut), 130 LF 3/4" Polyethylene Service Tubing (Bore & Jack), 7 EA 3/4" Air Release Valve, 1 EA Tie Into Existing Waterline, Complete, 2,100 LF Gravel Driveway/Road Repair, 25 LF WVDOH Type "C" Trench Repair, 2,000 LF WVDOH Rock Lined Ditch, 210 LF Stream Bank Slope Protection. The Work will be substantially completed within 90 calendar days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run, and completed and ready for final payment within 120 days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run. Liquidated damages shall be $1,000 per day. A bidder may not withdraw his bid for a period of ninety (90) days after the date set for the opening of bids. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to Tri-County Water Association in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the base bid. Contractor is required to provide the Drug Free Workplace Certification in accordance with WV Code 21-1D-5. All Bidders are required to have a West Virginia Contractor's License per Section 21-11-11 of the West Virginia Code. The Tri-County Water Association reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
