Renovation of a detention facility in Lancaster, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
**As of January 13, 2022 the project has not been awarded yet.** EDGE Participation Goal: 5% of contract Domestic steel use is required per ORC 153.011. Description: Base scope work includes removal of approximately 847 square feet of building demolition at: smokestack (185+ feet in height), brick storage shed, and connector; and alterations in the Power Plant per the contract documents. Selective demolition also includes the removal of the connector exterior ductwork from the smokestack to the existing power plant exterior wall, infill of the breeching ductwork opening, minor mechanical and electrical connections to repair and tie-ins. Modifications to existing boiler #3 are to rework ductwork transition to new roof penetrating flue and associated roof structure, mechanical and electrical systems work. Abatement scope is limited to door and window openings in small brick storage shed. Contract Estimated Cost General Contract $ 720,000.00 Alternate 1 $ 61,250.00 Alternate 2 $ 35,500.00 Alternate 3 $ 8,850.00 Alternate 4 $ 27,000.00 Ensure a form of identification is provided for each attendee. The EDGE Participation Goal for the Project is 5.0 percent.
