Renovation of a municipal facility in Gainesville, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Hall County, on behalf of the Hall County Courthouse, is seeking proposals from vendors to replace existing cameras and install new cameras for the Main Courthouse, Courthouse Annex and Courthouse parking deck. The Courthouse and the Parking Deck is located at 225 Green Street SE, Gainesville, GA 30501. The Hall County Courthouse Annex is located at 116 Spring St. SE, Gainesville, GA 30501. No further information will be read, discussed, or provided until the evaluation of all submittals is completed. No extension of the bidding period will be made other than by a formal written addendum to this Request for Price Proposal (RFP). Any proposals received after the date and time listed above will not be accepted. Successful bidders shall provide insurance in the amount of at least ($1,000,000.00) one million dollars as required by Paragraph 17 of the "Terms and Conditions" of the contract documents. As of January 27 , 2022. The project has been awarded with the amount of $968,717.08. All proposals will be evaluated in accordance with applicable Hall County rules, regulations and laws. This bid will be evaluated using a multi-step process. The first step is to evaluate "proposal" submissions. Factors to be considered in the evaluation include: ability of the professional staff, approach to project, experience on similar projects, performance on past projects and references for same services. This step will result in a "shortlist of qualified firms". During the evaluation process, the selection committee and the County reserve the right, when it may serve the County's best interest, to request information or clarification from proposers or to allow corrections of errors or omissions. Once the "short list" is compiled, the second step is to evaluate "cost proposal" which should have been submitted at the same time in a separate sealed envelope. The firms short listed may be invited to interview with the committee. All questions regarding the proposal should be directed in writing to Debra Howington, Buyer, dhowington@hallcounty.org no later than 12:00 noon, December 1, 2021. Answers will be provided to all participating firms in the form of a published addendum. This written proposal documents supersede any verbal or written prior communications between the parties. The County reserves the right to retain all proposals submitted and use any idea(s) in a proposal regardless of whether that proposal is selected. The Commissioners reserve the right to reject any or all bids, in whole or part, to waive technicalities and informalities or to select any bidder to complete the described Work. Award of Contract will not be solely based on low bid, but also on quality, references and other subjective criteria as the County may deem necessary and as the County may determine at its sole discretion. The Undersigned Bidder expressly understands that his proposal may be rejected by the County for any reason without liability on part of the County to the Undersigned Bidder.
