Based on the in-house preliminary programming effort, it is anticipated that the building will be a two (2) story structure with approximately 33,000 square foot of floor space including 16,000 SF Administration/Living Quarters, 11,400 SF for Fire Apparatus and operational support space (7 Bay) and 5,600 SF storage. Building programming will begin as soon as the successful Design-Build Team is under contract. By March 31, 2022, the Design-Build Team will prepare a conceptual program and cost estimates. The construction schedule is subject to the scope of work, permitting for the building, weather, and other conditions foreseeable or unforeseeable. If conditions are favorable, the Tribe would like to begin excavation for footings and underground by June 1, 2022. Substantial completion is expected within 12 months of the construction commencement.
