Site work for a water / sewer project in Miami, Florida. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work included within this Contract consists of furnishing all supervision, trained/certified/licensed personnel, labor, materials, equipment (included but not limited to any vacuum trucks and ancillary pumping systems) and tools required to perform all operations necessary for the hydraulic cleaning and vacuum removal of all foreign material, obstructions, debris, etc. in slab-covered trenches and associated systems as well as for the necessary repair of slab covered trenches and associated drainage systems in accordance with these specifications and/or as directed by the Engineer. The proposed sites for repair and cleaning have been provided by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT). Project limits will entail the area along SR 5 (Biscayne Blvd.) from NE 6th Street to SE 2nd Street and SR 25 (NW 36th St.) from NW 37th Court to NW 25th Avenue. Miami Dade County reserves the right to decrease, increase or eliminate the repair and cleaning located at or within any of the above areas mentioned. EXPERIENCE: Sufficient proof of experience shall be defined as a minimum of five (5) years of experience in the cleaning of slab covered trenches and other drainage structures. The contractor shall provide documented proof such as reports demonstrating previous jobs that have involved lengths of trench cleaning and repair, OSHA certifications, etc. This project was cancelled.
