Renovation of a mixed-use development in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

As of 01/21/2022 The start date was 1/3/22 and the end date is unknown. The project scope includes selective demolition and reconstruction of office space in the existing third floor area of the Wood County Courthouse. The construction will include removing and replacing portions of the hvac system in the construction area, new metal stud framing, drywall finish, painted walls, lay in acoustical ceilings, and updates to the electrical power supply system as necessary. Multiple prime bids will be received as follows: Carpentry Drywall Painting Flooring Acoustical Ceilings HVAC Electrical Plumbing Plans, specifications, and other bidding documents may be obtained from the architects office. Plans, specifications, and other bidding documents may be obtained electronically from the architect. There is not a fee to obtain the pdf documents electronically. The bidder must inform the architect if drawings are acquired electronically to ensure inclusion in bidders list and distribution of additional contract documents including addendums. Bidders that acquire documents electronically without informing the architect in writing will not be allowed to submit a bid. Final questions must be submitted by December 8, 2021 at 10:00 AM. Prequalification of bidders will not be required. Bidders to whom award of a contract is under consideration shall submit to the Architect, upon request, a properly executed AIA Document A305 Contactors Qualification Statement. No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening without consent of the Owner. Pursuant to current Wisconsin Statutes, Wage Rates were eliminated at the beginning of 2017. Attention of Bidders is particularly called to the requirement as to conditions of employment to be observed. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive or not waive irregularities in the bids received and to accept any proposal which they deem most favorable to the interests of the Owner.
