The expansion of wastewater treatment facilities including the additional of 34-foot diameter concrete clarifier, concrete aeration basin, concrete digester, steel chlorine contact basin and headworks structure. Each Bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or a certified or cashier check, acceptable to the Owner, in anamount not less than five percent (5%) of the greatest amount bid, including any and all alternates called for in the Bid Form, as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into the Contract and execute the Bonds on the forms provided, and providethe required insurance certificates within 7 days after the date Contract Documents are received by the Contractor. QA Expiration Date : - 1/11/2022 5:30:00 PM The successful bidder receiving the contract award must furnish Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) each of the Total Contract price. Each such bond shall be executed by the corporate surety duly authorized to do business in the State of Texas. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive all defects and irregularities in a Bid not involving price, timeor changes in the Work. The Successful Bidder, if any, will be the responsible Bidder which in the Owner's judgment will be most advantageous to the Owner and result in the best and most economical completion of the Project.
