QUESTIONS DUE 12/3/2021 4:00 PM (CST/ DST) ANSWERS POSTED 12/8/2021 by 4:00 PM (CST/ DST) Jefferson County is a political subdivision of the State of Alabama. Jefferson County is the central county of the BirminghamHoover MSA which consists of seven (7) counties and has a population of 1,140,300. Jefferson County has 38 municipalities within its boundary. The Jefferson County population is approximately 658,000 with an unincorporated area population of 93,000. The County covers over 1,100 square miles and is situated at the southern end of the Appalachian ridge. The period of this Agreement shall be for thirty (36) months. This Agreement may, by mutual written assent of the parties, be extended for (1) additional twelve (12) month period or portions thereof, up to a cumulative total of twenty-four months to allow the County to issue complete inspections for these atypical projects.
