Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a civil project in Anoka, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the addition of a water / sewer project; for the demolition of a water / sewer project; for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Major components of the Work include: Wells 6 & 8 Water Treatment Plant expansion. Expansion of the existing Well 6 & 8 WTP including: o Building addition for three chemical rooms, office, bathroom, and filter bay. o Furnish and install two (2) horizontal pressure filters (4 cells each) o Filtration Media o Air wash system o New process valves, o Significant changes to existing process piping, o New chemical feed equipment, o Miscellaneous plant equipment. o Associated Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC and Painting, with some Civil Site work such as Water Main, Sanitary Sewer, Site Grading, Landscaping, Fencing, and Bituminous Driveway. Bid security in the amount of (5%) percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. All bidders and persons or companies providing a response or submission to this Advertisement for Bids shall comply with these provisions. The City Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in any bids received without explanation. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days.
