Renovation of an educational facility in Coon Rapids, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
As of October 3, 2022, the project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for awarded nort yet been established. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Project consists of removing existing steam radiation and unit ventilators. Providing roof mounted energy recovery units with condensing units will be used to provide ventilation air to each space. The existing pneumatic temperature control system will be replaced with a direct digital control system. Work to also include acoustical ceiling panel replacement, floor polishing, light fixture replacement, marker board replacement, wall repair, wall painting, and patching required for Mechanical Work. TIME OF COMMENCEMENT AND COMPLETION: Work may commence on June 12, 2023, and be Substantially Complete on/or before August 18, 2023. Provide bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the Base Bid sum. BONDING REQUIREMENTS: Contractor will be required to provide a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond each in an amount of 100 percent of Contract Amount. WAGE DETERMINATION REQUIREMENTS: Contract is subject to compliance with the applicable Schedule of Prevailing Wages issued by the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry. Liquidated Damage: The Contractor, upon entering into a Contract with the Owner for the Work under this Project, agrees to pay to the Owner as a fixed and agreed amount for each calendar day of delay beyond the specified date of Final Completion, the sum of One Five-Hundred Dollars ($500.00) per calendar day
