Indian Prairie School District 204, DuPage County, Aurora, Illinois, hereinafter known as Owner, is seeking bids for furnishing and installing thirty-six (36) above ceiling Ultra-Violet Air Purifications Systems in thirty-two (32) schools located in Aurora, Bolingbrook and Naperville, Illinois. The Project consists of installing one or more of these units in the nurse's office along with any and all associated electrical work. Bidders are to enter at Door #20 and must present a valid State Identification Card to gain access to the pre-bid as well as the site inspections. Site inspections of representative schools will follow the meeting. Bids received after designated time and date of bid opening will not be considered. Apparent low bidders must be available for a scope review meeting either in person or via telephone between 9:30 - 10:30 am on Thursday, December 2, 2021. Two (2) copies of your bid proposal must be submitted on the "Bid Form" provided, with two (2) copies of all form attachments. A Certificate of Insurance, Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds, will be required from the successful bidder. The Board of Education of Indian Prairie School District 204 reserves the right to reject any and all bids or parts thereof, to waive any irregularities or informalities in bidding procedures, and to award the contract in a manner best serving the interest of the Owner. All Bidders must comply with Illinois Compiled Statutes, 820 ILCS 130/ (Prevailing Wage Act), requiring the payment of prevailing wage rates to all laborers, workmen and mechanics working on publicly funded projects. If during the time period of work, these rates change, the contractor shall be responsible for additional costs without any change to the contract amount. The proposed contract is subject to the requirements of the Equal Employment Practices Commission and the Illinois Human Rights Act (HRA) Illinois Revised Statues, Ch. 68, Par. 1-101, et. seg. (Including the requirement that every party to a public contract shall have adopted written sexual harassment policies, P.A. 87-1257).
