As of January 4 the project was awarded to Shoals Electric, no awarded amount available . This project consists of (1) installing a traffic signal at the intersection of Production Avenue & Madison Boulevard, and (2) replacing a traffic signal at the intersection of Intergraph Way & Madison Boulevard. Expected completion timeframe is 120 days from the notice to proceed, and the traffic signal at Production Avenue is to be completed first. Traffic must be maintained during construction. No pre-qualification is required for this project. Only properly licensed general contractors per Alabama law may submit a bid. Bids must be submitted on the required forms provided by the City of Madison Legal Department and may not be faxed or e-mailed. ITB packets can be obtained from the City of Madison's website at website under the Open Bids tab.
