The Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District ("CFISD" and/or the "District") is soliciting proposals for Layer 2 and 3 Switches E-Rate, Request for Proposal #22-07-7033R-RFP as more fully set out in the Scope of Work and Specific Conditions and Specifications section of this Request for Proposals ("RFP"). Contract period from July 1, 2022 - June 30, 2024 Proposals may be submitted on any and/or all items. The District reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids, to accept any bid deemed most advantageous to the CFISD and to waive any informalities in bidding. If addendums are issued on any bid, it is the responsibility of the vendor to review the eBid system for addendums. A more detailed timeline is set out in Section 1 Instructions, Submission Requirements and Procedures section of the RFP. Proposals will remain sealed until the due date and time. Contents of proposals will remain confidential during the negotiations period, if applicable. Only the proposal number and the identity of the Proposer(s) submitting the proposal will be made available to the public before award of the RFP. Proposals received after the Proposal due date and time will not be considered. Question Cutoff Date : 12/2/2021 09:30:00 AM (ET). All questions should be submitted electronically The District will not respond to verbal inquires. CFISD will post all questions and responses for clarification as addenda to this proposal/RFP electronically The District 's current network infrastructure has standardized utilizing HPE Aruba equipment and requires a solution that is seamlessly compatible with the existing infrastructure. In accordance with the FCC's Queen of Peace Order, the District will fairly evaluate any solution that provides a technically and functionally equivalent solution from an alternate manufacturer. Vendors must provide documentation to demonstrate the equivalency of the proposed equipment. If the alternative solution requires additional components not enumerated in the scope of work, the vendor must include those items as well. Additionally, such solution must also include a minimum of three days of training for District staff. The District will be the final arbiter of the equivalency of the solution.
