The purpose of this project is to add a new transformer for the mobile chiller at the Canandaigua, NY VA Medical Center as described in the Statement of Work, Drawings and Specifications contained or attached to this solicitation. All work shall be completed at the Canandaigua, NY VA Medical Center. The successful contractor shall provide all labor, material and equipment to complete all requirements of the project. IAW FAR 19.502-2, this solicitation is 100% set-aside for a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The NAICS code for this project is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Contractors with a size standard of $39.5M. The project number is 528A5-22-512. A pre-bid site visit will be held Tuesday, December 21, 2021 @11am. Interested parties are to meet in the Engineering Conference room in Building 118. All RFIs during the site visit must be submitted to the Contracting Officer to be considered for an official response from the Government. All RFIs shall be emailed to the Contracting Officer: Davidm.Esmay@va.gov with the COR: Ryan.Bergman@va.gov cc'd. All RFIs must be received by 4:30PM on Tuesday, December 28, 2021. Bids are due by 4:30PM Eastern Time on January 13, 2022. Bids shall be submitted by email to Davidm.Esmay@va.gov. Do not copy anyone else on the email that contains the bid or bid material. The original bid bond shall be mailed to the Contracting Officer so that it is received by the bid due date and time.
