It includes demolition and removal of existing toll booths and access tunnels, modification to utility chase, termination and removal of electrical, HVAC & plumbing services, construction of concrete walls to infill tunnel basement portal, construction of concrete caps on ground vaults & chases, backfill of structures to remain in place, preparation of site for roadway work, boring & installation of conduit and conductors below existing tollway, installation of conduit and modification to overhead gantry and rework of the vehicle sensor loop system. Furnish coating surface finish for new concrete as specified. This work consists of removing fins, lumps, protrusions, surface treatments, surface preparation all surfaces, filling discontinuities, and applying a solvent or water-based stain.
