Site work for a water / sewer project in Rural Retreat, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
**As of January 21, 2022, the project was awarded to Carolina Grading & Utilities Inc for $1,190,091 with the alt bid 1. The start and completion date has not yet been determined. The Project includes the replacement/construction of approximately 5,000 L.F. of 12-inch and smaller diameter sewer line, cleaning, sewer lining of 450 LF of 12- and 8-inch gravity sewer line, and replacement of 23 manholes and associated appurtenances. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis. The Project is funded through the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality. Prospective Bidders may examine and obtain the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday through Thursday between the hours of 7:30 am 5:30 pm and Friday between the hours of 8:00 am 12:00 pm. MBE/WBE firms are encouraged to submit bids
