Renovation of an educational facility in Oneonta, New York. Working plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The owner has selected a Design Builder. Description of Design-Build services to be procured in 2022: Provide design and construction of currently needed improvements in the Campus 5 kV electrical distribution system in a phased manner that minimizes the future cost, effort, and impact of upgrading system voltage from 5 kV to 15 kV. Cost of work will not exceed $15,000,000 and work will be completed by September 2024. The scope of work includes replacement of all feeders, select switches, select transformers; reuse, modifications of, and replacement of select site distribution systems and building enclosures; and the design, engineering, permitting, site preparation, construction, and commissioning required to complete the Project. If an organizational conflict of interest is determined to exist, the Fund may, at its sole discretion, reject an Offeror's RFQ, reject a Proposer's RFP, rescind award of the design-build contract, or terminate the design-build contract for the Project, as applicable.
