Remodeling of a mixed-use development in Menlo Park, California. Completed plans call for the remodel of a museum; and transportation facility.

The work to be completed includes furnish all labor, equipment and materials, and perform all work necessary and incidental to construct the rehabilitation of the historic train station for use as a train museum and rail history interpretive center as well as integrate the building with the new town center. The main elements of the scope include: Wood repair/replacement, roof repair, weatherization of the structure, electrical and mechanical improvements, exterior improvements, interior improvements, fixtures, furnishings and site improvements. The building will be enclosed with new doors added. Site work includes restriping accessible parking, providing an accessible path from town center and from parking into building with limited landscape treatment along track side. Project Schedule: The work shall be completed within Sixty (60) working days from the First Day of Construction as defined in the Notice to Proceed. Portion of Work to be Performed by the Contractor: The General Contractor shall perform, with his own organization, work of a value amounting to not less than 50% of the total contract, excluding specialty items as may be indicated on the bid schedule.
