Renovation of an office development in Macon, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 11,350-square-foot office development.
As of December 20, 2021. The bid date for this project has been postponed, bidders will bne notified once a new bid date has been determined. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check made payable to the Macon Housing Authority, in amount not less than 5% of the base bid. Both a Performance and Payment Bond will be required in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price. Attention is called to the provisions for equal employment opportunity and to the requirement that not less than minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the specifications must be paid on this project. The Macon Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding. Contract, if awarded, will be on lump sum basis. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after time has been called on date of bid opening. Scope of work includes providing soil, waste and vent piping system and domestic water piping system, providing connections to all equipment and fixtures requiring plumbing, including all material and labor necessary to make the connections. Provide all items, material, equipment and incidentals necessary and required for the complete work, including excavation and backfill for piping. All items and equipment which is in direct contact with potable water shall be lead free per the Federal Lead Free Law as of January 2014.
