Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a water / sewer project in North Riverside, Illinois. Completed plans call for the addition of a water / sewer project; for the demolition of a water / sewer project; for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project includes the construction of a 1.0-milliongallon capacity, partially above ground, AWWA D110 Type III wire wound prestressed concrete potable water reservoir and associated foundation, site work, yard piping, electrical, and controls improvements located at 2222 S. 10th Avenue, Broadview, Illinois 60155 for the Broadview Westchester Joint Water Agency (BWJWA). Each proposal shall be accompanied by a proposal guaranty in the form of a bid bond, executed by a corporate surety company, a bank cashier's check, or a certified check payable to the Broadview-Westchester Joint Water Agency for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the proposal. Work performed under this contract shall be in accordance with Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (Illinois Compiled Statutes, Ch. 820, Act 130, Sections 1-12), Employment of Illinois Workers on Public Works Act (Illinois Compiled Statutes, Ch. 30, Act 570, Sections 1-7), Drug Free Workplace Act (Illinois Compiled Statutes, Ch. 30, Act 580, Sections 1-11). The BroadviewWestchester Joint Water Agency reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any and all proposals for any reason deemed in the best interest of the Broadview-Westchester Joint Water Agency. The general prevailing rate of wages in Cook County, Illinois, for each craft or type of worker or mechanic needed to execute the contract or perform the work, also the general prevailing rate for legal holiday and overtime work, as ascertained by the Illinois Department of Labor, shall be paid for each craft or type of worker needed to execute the contract or to perform the work. There is no published estimate for this project, but a range over $2 Million is appropriate. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
