A brief description of work for these projects follows: Project will consist of removal of cooling tower and chiller, installation of new air cooled chillers, primary and secondary chilled water pumps, piping and accessories. A 5% Bid Bond and 100% Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds are required for this project. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of 60 days. E-Verify Requirements: This project requires the awarded vendor to comply with the requirements of E-Verify. (U.S. law requiring companies to employ only individuals who may legally work in the United States - either U.S. citizens, or foreign citizens who have the necessary authorization.) Minority businesses are encouraged to submit bids for this project. The appropriate forms from the section entitled "Participation by Women and Minority Owned Businesses" must be submitted with each bid to show good faith efforts to obtain Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprise participation. The Guilford County Board of Education awards public contracts without regard to race, religion, color, creed, national origin, sex, age or handicapped condition as defined by North Carolina General Statutes, Section 168A-3. This project will be funded with ESSER funds and will require the contractor to follow the Guilford County Schools ESSER reporting requirements The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids presented and to waive any informalities and irregularities.
