This project is federally funded by a 2021 Brazoria County Community Development Block Grant Attention is called to tire factthat not lessthanthe federally determined prevailing (Davis-Bacon andRelatedActs) wage rate, as issued by the U.S. Department ofLabor H.U.D. and contained in the contract documents, must be paid on this project In addition, the successful bidder must ensure that employees and applicants for employment arc not discriminated against because ofrace, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age or national origin. Also, adherence to Section 3 ofthe Housing and Urban DevelopmentAct of 1968, as amended, the regulations set forth in 24 CFRPart 135, and all applicable rules and orders will apply City ofDanbuiy reservesthe right to reject any or all bids orto waive any informalities in the bidding. The award will bemade to the responsible biddersubmittingthe lowest acceptable bid. The work is located in City of Danbury, Brazoria County, Texas. The project includes removing and disposing of solids accumulated in the existing wastewater treatment plant in accordance with the project documents.
