Vendor agrees to provide UV-C Disinfection Lights for the Dallas Independent School District in accordance with the specifications, terms and conditions, of the Request for Proposal, and the prices and discounts stated by the vendor, the discount will remain firm for the agreement, including the option years. Dallas ISD reserves the right to make a Single award or Multiple Award's whichever is in the best interest of the District. Offers must be submitted in sufficient time to be received and time-stamped at the above location on or before the receipt/opening date/time indicated above. Dallas ISD will not be responsible for delivering mail from the post office nor any other delays encountered by hand delivery of Offers. Offers will also be accepted electronically through the District's sourcing module. FAX proposals and emailed proposals will not be accepted. Please submit your response per one method, either by submitting hard copies or by submitting an electronic response. Offers received after the receipt/opening time and date will not be considered. Questions concerning this solicitation document should be addressed, in writing, to rcrockham@dallasisd.org. Questions should be submitted not later than December 2, 2021 at 12:00 PM CST to allow sufficient time for responses prior to receipt/opening date/time.Responses to questions, other than administrative questions, will be provided to all potential Offerors by means of an addendum to the solicitation. Anticipated Approval/Award February 17, 2022 For any risk exceeding 10% of the surety's capital on any bid bond, surety bond, or performance bond, the respective surety shall obtain reinsurance on such risk with one or more reinsurers that are duly authorized, accredited, or trusted to do business in Texas. Such reinsurance shall be witnessed by written certification as a condition precedent to Districts acceptance of the bond. The M/WBE Prime's self-performance of a specialty trade or project scope of work shall be counted toward the goal, up to a maximum of 50% of the M/WBE project goal. The District reserves the right to determine the responsiveness, acceptable level and best value of any such deviation.The District reserves the right to waive minor irregularities and/or informalities and to accept or reject any bids/proposals in whole or in part or to negotiate separately in any manner necessary and/or to terminate the procurement solicitation process in its entirety provided that the action is in the best interest of the District.
