This project will be 100% set-aside for SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES. Competition for this procurement is restricted to verified VetBiz SERVICE- DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (SDVOSB) contractors. The SDVOSB must be a small business under the relevant NAICS code and must be registered and verified in https://www.vetbiz.va.gov. Prospective Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supplies and supervision to perform the required electrical construction work on this project which includes and not limited to the removal of the existing switchgear and underground duct banks and installation of new switchgear, underground duct banks, conductors, conduit, light fixtures, lighting controls, power devices, fire alarm system, security system. Work includes testing of all components and extensive interaction and coordination with Consolidated Edison as well as compliance with Consolidated Edison guidelines, VA guidelines, VA COR direction and contract documents. Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures and the installation of a brick building to house the new high voltage switchgear. Building shall include, but is not limited to, concrete foundations, steel structure, doors complete with hardware, walls, louvers, rain gutters, roof hatch, ladder, fire extinguishers, lights, switches, receptacles and all else shown on drawings. Work on this project includes the installation of new unit heater, split system air conditioning system, exhaust fan, louvers and associated controls. Duration of Project: All work to be completed within 240 calendar days from contractor s receipt of Notice to Proceed. IAW VAAR 836.204 Estimated Construction Cost Range is $2,000,000-$5,000,000.
