The award amount is $130,202.81 The California State Department of Conservation (Department) requires wellhead leaking repairs and pipeline isolation services in Santa Barbara County. You are invited to review and respond to this Invitation for Bid (IFB), entitled 2021-008 HVI Cat Canyon, Inc. Field Well Maintenance and Pipeline Isolation. In submitting your bid, you must comply with these instructions listed herein. It has been determined that 141 wells are connected to flowlines and pipelines and are idledeserted. Additionally, 7 wells of these wells have recently leaked gas or are actively leaking gas and are idle-deserted. Per Public Resources Code, Section 3250 et. seq. hazardous and idledeserted oil and gas wells are public nuisances and that it is essential, in order to protect life, health, and natural resources that such oil and gas wells be plugged and abandoned, reabandoned, produced, or otherwise remedied to mitigate, minimize, or eliminate their danger to life, health and natural resources. The Department of Conservation (Department), California Geologic Energy Management Division (Division) intends to award one service contract from this solicitation to repair 7 leaking wellheads and isolate 141 wells by severing and capping the associated flowlines from the wellheads
