Site work for a water / sewer project in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work to be done includes the removal and installation of rubber & timber fenders, ladders, crash barriers, and related work. The site is located at various locations on Port Milwaukee's South Pier 1, South Pier 2, and Liquid Cargo Pier, Milwaukee WI 53207. The work is to be completed by July 1, 2022. Each bidder must submit a bid bond in the amount of 10 percent of its bid. Small Business Enterprise (SBE) participation of 25 percent is required on this contract, unless waived by the City. The Lowest Competent and Reliable Bidder Will Be Awarded a Contract to Perform the Above-described Work. The Board of Harbor Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The Board of Harbor Commissioners will award this contract to the lowest reliable and competent bidder. In the case of a tie low bid, the Board of Harbor Commissioners reserves the right to determine the award. No bid will be considered as accepted until the Board of Harbor Commissioners votes to accept it.
