The location and description of the proposed work are as follows: The proposed project is located in Pinal County on Russell Road 3 miles east of Stanfield, and 9 miles west of Casa Grande. The work consists of constructing new asphalt concrete road over existing dirt road, seeding, signing, pavement marking, and other related items. The time allowed for the completion of the work included in this contract will be 190 Calendar days. The Arizona Department of Transportation, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252.42 U.S.C.2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, Disadvantaged Business Enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. The minimum contract-specified goal for participation by Disadvantaged Business Enterprises in the work, as a percentage of the total amount bid, shall be 6.59.
