Demolition, site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Lima, Ohio. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The proposed work consists of replacing an existing submersible pump station located in the park:complete with all related items as shown in the Contract Documents and called for on the Proposal for Unit Price Contract. Each bid shall contain the full name of each person or company interested and shall be accompanied by a bond or certified check made payable to the Board of Allen County Commissioners, equal to at least ten (10%) percent of the bid upon the condition that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into within ten (10) days. A performance bond of one hundred (100%) percent of the amount of the contract, with satisfactory corporate sureties, will be required for the faithful performance of the work. This Project is being constructed, in part, with Federal Community Development Block Grant funds. This Project will be subject to Federal Prevailing Wage Rates. It will also be subject to all applicable Federal Equal Opportunity Laws, and related regulations. Bids shall be sealed and endorsed Park Pump Station Replacement, FY20 CDBG Allocation,Allen County, Ohio, and addressed to the Board of Allen County Commissioners. No proposal will be entertained unless made on the blanks attached to the bound documents furnished by Access Engineering Solutions. Sealed bids must contain an original and one (1) copy of the Bid submission. The bidder's attention is called to the necessity of starting the work at once upon written Notice to Proceed.All work shall be completed by August 31, 2022. No bidder shall be permitted to withdraw his bid for a period of thirty (30) days after the time of opening bids. The Board of Allen County Commissioners reserves the right to accept or reject all proposals or to waive all informalities or irregularities in the bidding.
